In Maui

You can see posts are fewer and farther apart. After 26 hrs of awake time, we landed and made our way to the condo. I have to say the renovation job has had its challenges. The wrong tile was ordered and the soap niche was completely undersized. Fortunately we have the issues resolved and should be on our way by Monday.

A Day in Bar Harbor

Acadia Park

Yesterday was a rain day so we stayed close to home. We walked to a little beach to look for sea glass and then to Cellardoor Winery for a tasting. It’s a goal to try the wines from every state and country we visit.
Today was a beautiful day so we headed off to Acadia Nat’l Park and Bar Harbor. It’s our last day so we had to eat our last lobster.

Then we drove the scenic loop of the park to Otter Point. The views and fall colors are spectacular.

Camden, ME

Redo

So for those of you who read this earlier...there was a little technical issue.
Here is the quick recap:
Went to an art festival in Camden, then to the top of Camden Hill State Park for beautiful views and fall colors, then to Rockland for a killer lobster roll. It was a fun day.

AGIFORS in Seattle

We started this trip in Seattle at the AGIFORS conference. This is a conference Greg use to attend and we joined this year for a new scholarship being handed out in the name of a recently departed friend and fellow member, Ken Wang.
We attended a private dinner at the Wild Ginger in Ken’s memory and the awards gala. We also attended the networking day and got to hang out with some old friends. We toured the Boeing factory and then went on a dinner cruise out on Elliott Bay in Puget Sound.

One day, we girls spent the morning at the Chihuly Glass Museum and Space Needle. I’ve always loved glass so this was awesome.

We wrapped up our stay with dinner with some old friends from the Continental Airlines days, Kent Craver and Nick and Christine Deaver. It was a great meal with a fantastic view. Jackie Craver was down in So. Cal. Starting her new job. We missed her.
